The abduction of Nisar Panhwar, a member of MQM’s Coordination Committee and a former National Assembly member, along with his son Mohsin Panhwar, is utterly reprehensible.
They should be located and rescued without delay.
Nisar and Mohsin were leaving his brother’s residence in the Gulshan-e Hadeed area when armed individuals in civilian clothing surrounded their vehicle in the Malir Halt region, took them into custody, and made them vanish.
Currently, the father and son have been moved to an undisclosed location, and there is no information regarding their status.
Nisar Panhwar had just returned home ten days ago after being missing for three months, only to be abducted for a fifth time alongside his son Mohsin.
The reappearance of this enforced disappearance of Nisar Panhwar and Mohsin Panhwar is strongly condemned.
I appeal Field Marshal Asim Munir, the Chief of Defence Forces, to address the situation concerning the abduction of Nisar Panhwar and his son Mohsin Panhwar and to ensure their prompt recovery.
Furthermore, I appeal to the esteemed judges of the High Court to expedite recovery orders related to the petition seeking the return of Nisar Panhwar and Mohsin Panhwar.
