The government should resign because they have failed to provide protection to people: Altaf Hussain

The founder and leader of MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain has said that the federal government and the military leadership should make an appeal to people of Pakistan for help and support for the elimination of terrorists from the country.
“MQM offers its unconditional support to the federal government and military leadership, “ Mr. Hussain said.
“Journalist Community should not think they are alone. MQM and its workers are with them.” Mr. Hussain said this in an interview Monday.
Mr. Hussain has expressed condemnation of the attack on the newspaper  and TV channel’s office in Qayumabad. He also prayed for the recovery of the security guards wounded in the attack.
He said that MQM believed in the freedom of press.  Press Freedom is very important for democratic society that is why developed and developing country pay great attention to this. 
Mr. Hussain assured the journalist fraternity that MQM was with them. 
“One has to pay heavy price for expressing facts in writing and speech. I appeal to journalists to keep a watchful eye on terrorists. I pray to Allah to give them courage. We can fight terrorists with the help of courageous people like you,” Mr. Hussain said.
Mr. Hussain said that it was the responsibility of the government and the administration to provide protection to all citizens, including journalists. He added that a government which fails to do so should resign voluntarily. He said administration should be changed in this situation and honest officers should be appointed. 
Mr. Hussain deplored that we don’t have a meritocratic system in Pakistan. He lamented we were unable to formulate a clear policy to fight terrorists because of corruption, nepotism and favoritism. 
“Pakistan ‘s army and security forces are rendering supreme sacrifices. Now Federal government and military leadership should appeal to people for their help and support in fight against terrorism. MQM and its workers offer unconditional support to the federal government and the army, “ Mr. Hussain said.
Mr. Hussain said we had to show courage and fortitude in this difficult time. “ God Forbid ! These terrorists will destroy every channel and newspapers in the country and terrorists will capture the country, “ he added. 
He prayed to all Allah for help in the elimination of terrorists.
