The founder and leader of MQM Mr. Hussain has said that Things that cause division, hatred and enmity among human beings cannot be right. He added that differences of language generate irrational racism and the ugly outbreak of racism can divide any country.
Ethnic strife can be eliminated only if we provide equal rights and justice to all without discrimination. It has been observed it can dilute geographic boundaries. It becomes a country like United States of America.
We don’t have enough food to feed our people. We depend on foreign charity and aid. Despite all this we make loft claims that we can teach American a lesson by closing NATO Supply Line. We had tried to teach America a lesson before by closing NATO supply line for six months. Did we able to hurt American?
Do people know what would happen if American stops IMF and World from giving aid money to us for a month? We will have to sell everything for our security and survival.
I appeal to people who are doing politics in the name of religion to stop the exploitation of poor and innocent people. I also appeal to them to stop exploiting the feelings of loyal people of Pakistan. Why don’t these people take the matter to the United Nations and International Court of Justice?
Mr. Hussain expressed these views while addressing people on the launching ceremony of his book ‘ Philosophy of Love’ on the telephone.
The launching ceremony was chaired by senior journalist and editor the Daily ‘Amn’. A large number of notables of the city attended the event, including Welcome Books Publisher Asghar Zaidi, well-known anchor person Masood Hussain, Poet and intellectual Khawaja Rifiq, educationaist Dr. Peer Zada Qaseem, President of Karachi’s arts council Ahmed Shah and Dr. Farooq Sattar and other political, religious and social workers.
Mr. Hussain said that knowledge has no limits. He added that a person quest for knowledge till his death and unfortunately he cannot share his knowledge and experience how he dies. Knowledge is the endless pursuit of love. World’s 90% internal and external strife and riots will go away if love becomes common.
He said that citizens of different countries have different physical structure, faces and colors. However, they have one thing in common the color of there is same. We should put aside all the differences and think about what is common between us and respect one another.
Mr. Hussain said, “True love is selfless. “
“People across the globe have different belief and they worship according to their beliefs. All the religions have the concept of heaven and hell,” Mr. Hussain said.
“Unfortunately, followers of Islam worship either because of love of Jannah or fear of hell. In my opinion if we add the element of fear in our worships it is like adulterating food or medicine. We should worship Allah without fear and greed” Mr. Hussain said.
“It is said that different ethnic groups in Pakistan are willing to bear one another. Hatred and prejudice dismembered our country and one of part became Bangladesh. Our short-sighted leaders used to ridicule Bengalis. They usurped their rights and denied them justice. Today Bangladesh’s currency and economy is stable and better than us,” deplored Mr. Hussain.
“Things that cause division, hatred and enmity among human beings cannot be right. Things which makes us despise and look down upon others cannot be right,” said Mr. Hussain
Mr. Hussain said, “ Islam is called the religion of peace. People who are doing killings in the name of Islam and attacking Imambargahs, shrines and places of worship of other religions and award inhume punishment to innocent people and slaughter army and police personnel are enemies of Islam. They cannot be called friends of Islam.”
Mr. Hussain said Allah says in the Quran there is no compulsion to follow Islam. When Allah says there is no compulsion why do these people preach hatred in the name of Islam and give a bad name to the religion.
“There are other progressive parties in the country. However, MQM is the only party in the country which speaks the truth openly and opposes those who do killings and promote hatred in the name of religion. We don’t accept the ideology of the who want to impose their version of Islam by Kalashnikov and stick, “ Mr. Hussain said.
Mr. Hussain said, “ Pakistan has come into being. Pakistan is reality now. Likewise people of different religions including Christians, Jews, Parshi, Sikhs and Buddhists who are living in the geographical boundaries of the country are a reality. They are Pakistanis. They should have religious freedom like Pakistani Muslims.”
“In the same way different sects who live in Pakistan. Whether are Shia, Sunni, Deobandi and Bralvi, they should have freedom to offer their worship according to their beliefs. No one should snatch this right from them. I promote that one should leave one’s ideology and criticize the ideologies of other people, “ Mr. Hussain said.
“My philosophy of loves is that we are all human. We are followers of different ideologies and religions. We are all human beings. The color of our blood is same. I preach to end hatred and promote loves. Love all despite their color, beliefs and ideologies,” Mr. Hussain said.
“Political parties that are doing politics in the name of drone attacks. Pronouncing terrorists martyrs. Staging protest demonstrations for the closure of NATO supply line. I urge them to stop misguiding innocent people. They are exploiting the loyalty of the innocent Pakistani. Their protest demonstrations are only hurting the poor drivers and goods transporters and hurting them economically while leaders of who are inciting people to stage protest demonstrations are sitting in their air-conditioned homes, “ lamented Mr. Hussain.
“Religious parties which do politics in the name of Islam have hurt people badly. They had enticed thousands of young Muslim young to fight Russians. They did so to please Americans. Now they are getting people in name of anti-American campaigns. It is deplorable they do not come out to fight. They misuse the feelings of poor people. I urge them to exploit poor people of Pakistan. Don’t exploit their love for Pakistan. If they want to stop drone attacks, why don’t they approach the United Nations and the International Court of Justice, “ said Mr. Hussain.
“ I urge to leaders of all political and religious parties and people of Pakistan to avoid dealing issues in sentimental ways. Our sentimentality has hurt in the past and we will not get anything now. If we cannot promote love by our actions, we should not promote hatred too. Survival of our country and well-being of fellows Muslims depend on our actions. I pray to Allah to save us from the scholars who preach hatred and who pitch one Muslim sect another, “ said Mr. Hussain.
“Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Munawar Hussain pronounced the Chief of Tehreek-e-Taliban a martyr. This man has killed thousands of people and slaughtered our army officers and soldiers. He has refused to call the army man who died for Pakistan martyrs. I ask. Did Munawar Hussain not violate Article 6 of the constitution? Should we not arrest him and prosecute him for the violation of the constitution, “ said Mr. Hussain.
Mr. Hussain also condemned another scholar who had said that people who died in drone attacks were martyrs. He added that no one should issue certificates like this. God knows who will go into the paradise and hell.
Mr. Hussain urged people to promote love not hatred. He added that good of the humanity lies in love and God is also pleased with our good acts.
Mr. Hussain thanked all the participants of the event.
