Mufti Naeem praises the role of Altaf Hussain for playing an active role against the conspiracy to spark sectarian violence
A delegation of Muttahida Quami Movement called on the administrator of Jamia Binoriya in SITE Town Mufti Muhammad Naeem and thanked him and thanked him on behalf of Mr Altaf Hussain for playing an active role for dousing the fire of sectarianism and violence.  The delegation comprised members of the Co-ordination Committee Dr Sagheer Ahmed, Wasay Jalil, Amir Khan, Saif Yar Khan and MPAs Khawaja Izharul Hassan and Adil Siddiqui. Former Nazim of the SITE Town Izhar Ahmed Khan was also present on the occasion.
The MQM delegation praised Mufti Naeem and other religious scholars for foiling the conspiracy to kindle sectarian violence after the Rawalpindi tragedy. They commended the religious scholars for asking the followers of their respective schools of thoughts for showing restraint and stopping the fire of violence from spreading.
The delegation said that it was not the responsibility of religious scholars only to stop the elements that were conspiring to fan the fire of sectarianism. All other political and religious parties must play an active role in promoting sectarian harmony and frustrating the conspiracy.
The delegation said that a vicious conspiracy was being hatched to create a bad blood among the followers of different sects and schools of thought. The MQM had been working against this conspiracy along with the religious scholars and it would continue to make efforts for eliminating sectarianism.
Speaking on the occasion Mufti Naeem said that the elements trying to spread sectarianism were enemy of the Muslims and they did not belong to any sect. He said that the elements involved in the Rawalpindi tragedy should be brought to justice. He said that people should keep an eye on the elements that were trying to spoil the atmosphere of sectarian harmony.
Mufti Naeem lauded the practical role being played by Mr Hussain against the conspiracy to spark sectarian violence. He also praised for the good health and long life of Mr Hussain.
