Unanimously revoked the arrest of the Pakistan Tehreek-e Insaf Chairman Imran Khan by declaring the arrest as unlawful.--Altaf Husssain on Tweeter Thanks God! The Chief Justice of Pakistan Mr Justice Umar Atta Bandiyal and the 3-member bench under his aegis collectively and unanimously revoked the arrest of the Pakistan Tehreek-e Insaf Chairman Imran Khan by declaring the arrest as unlawful. The Chief Justice and the bench also passed an order of forthwith release of Imran Khan. The Chief Justice having observed keenly had also bound the authorities concerned to keep Imran Khan safe at the Police Lines because Imran Khan has serious threats to his life. Thus, Imran Khan would spend a day in the Police Lines guest house. The overall role of the apex judiciary particularly Mr Justice Bandiyal was so promising and heart-winning. I am personally glad to see the role of Mr Justice Bandiyal who reacted timely. I hereby welcome the decision cordially. The orders of the apex court are in complete accordance with the spirit of the country's constitution. It is a matter of immense pleasure that Mr Justice Bandiyal has upheld the supremacy of the apex court in the country and has further cemented his courage which deserves true applause from the core of my heart. By taking this opportunity, I feel like drawing the attention of Mr Justice Bandiyal and all the respected judges of the apex court that they should also pass more fearless orders so as to put the country back on track. The promulgation and implementation of the laws of the country must be ensured and the apex courts judges must oversee the implementation of the country's laws in letter and spirit. The unlawful arrest of the PTI chairman Imran Khan had been discussed across the world and verily it was the talk of the town. The unlawful arrest had received unprecedented condemnation from all quarters and from all walks of life. I also spared no moment to condemn the unlawful arrest of Imran Khan. On my stance, a lot of critics asked me why I was condemning his arrest? Let me tell them that I always stand for the right and hence my condemnation. I would conclude here with the words that I don't follow the footprints of the opportunists in politics and I care for everyone especially those who have been pushed to hot waters sans lawful charges. Love and respect for each other must prevail for building up a good and responsible society.
