The member of the Central Coordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement Syed Amin-Ul-Haque, MQM Parliamentary Leader in National Assembly Dr Farooq Sattar, Saif Yar Khan, Gulfaraz Khan Khattak, MNA Rashid Godil, MPA Saleem Razzaq, Mohammed Dilawar and the members of MQM Ulema committee attended the central mourning procession of the mourners of Hussain on the eve of “Ashura” in Nishtar Park on M.A Jinnah Road Karachi.
The charity and welfare wing of MQM Khidmat-e-Khalq Committee (KKF) had organised different medical camps on the routes of the passage of the mourning processions, where injured mourners of Hussain were provided free medical assistance & treatment.
KKF Mobile Ambulance service also accompanied the different processions in the city, while different sectors of MQM also set up Sabeels where water, milk and other homemade beverages were distributed among the mourners, MQM also organised Langers, where free of cost meal was distributed to the mourners.
The MQM Central Coordination Committee member Amin Ul Haque and Haq Parast Parliamentarians met different religious scholars who were attending the mourning procession and also met office bearers of the mourner committees & monitored the security arrangements.
The Central Coordination Committee apprised the religious scholars and Shia organization Committees about the services being provided by MQM and KKF to the mourners of the Hussain.
The religious scholars and Shia Committees lauded the role of the Founder and Leader of MQM Mr Hussain for the promotion of sectarian harmony and paid great tribute to him and MQM for organizing medical camps, Sabeels and distributing Langers among the mourners of the Hussain.
The Central Coordination Committee also visited the medical camps set up by KKF and reviewed the medical facilities being provided to the mourners, they also distributed milk, water , Langers among the mourners of Hussain themselves.
The KKF Ambulance service kept on taking injured mourners of Hussain to the nearest hospitals and provided them medical treatment on the occasion.
