FAROOQ SATTAR CONGRATULATES OVERSEAS PAKISTANI FOR GETTING VOTE RIGHT

Islamabad: Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Dr. Farooq Sattar congratulated overseas Pakistanis for being granted the right to vote in the general election by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, Farooq Sattar said that the decision would enable the overseas Pakistanis to play their positive role in the national politics, as they were doing in the economy by contributing over 11 billion dollars per annum.He said that since joining office in February 2009, he started working on this important issue. The first summary regarding vote right to the overseas Pakistanis was sent to the ECP in March 2009, he added. Urdu News
