Personnel of
ISI (Inter-Services Intelligence) and Para-military Rangers abducted Mohammad
Aslam, brother-in-law of Qasim Ali Raza – the Deputy Convenor of Coordination
Committee of MQM from Hyderabad.
Mohammad Aslam, a family man, aged 50, works in Hyderabad Board Office
usually come home around 4.00pm after finishing his job. On Thursday evening he
finished his job as usual but did not reach home. Desperate family members
tried to contact him but his mobile phone has been switched off. According to
eye-witnesses, Mohammad Aslam was taken into custody by plain cloth personnel
of ISI and para-military Rangers. His family members have approached police
officials and submitted an application about enforced disappearance but his
whereabouts are still unknown.
