PROTEST AT WHITE HOUSE:
OPPRESSED NATIONS, MOHAJIR, PASHTUN, BALOUCH, SINDHI, GILGITI AND BALTISTANI DEMAND RIGHT OF SELF-DETERMINATION
WASHINGTON. Jul 22, 2019: Mohajir, Pashtun, Sindhi, Gilgiti and Hazarwal leaders have demanded that the ongoing atrocities against these nations in Pakistan should immediately be stopped and that they should be allowed to decide about their fate and future through the right of self-determination.
They demanded so at a time when Pakistani PM Imran Khan had called on the US President Donald J. Trump at White House in Washington DC. The demands for the self-determination and end to state=sponsored atrocities were made during a protest by leaders and participants of above-named nations in front of White House.
USA MQM Organiser Shahid Muastafa while addressing the protestors said that though there is democracy in Pakistan but the fact is that the democracy in Pakistan is a controlled democracy and Pakistan’s demonic military is the controlling authority on democracy. Pakistan’s military is the only powerful force in Pakistan that has occupied the entire county and runs a variety of commercial entities for money.
He said that since these different nations are being oppressed in Pakistan and hence they have united under one common platform to speak out their demands and seek positive responses from the international communities.
USA MQM Central Organiser Rehan Ibadat said that not only Mohajirs in Pakistan but equally all other nations including Pashtun, Balouch, Sindhi and others are victims of state-sponsored atrocities and oppression and hence they have united for a common cause that is the right of self-determination.
He appealed to the US President to raise the issue of human rights violations before Pakistani PM Imran Khan.
Balouch National Movement leader Nabi Bux Balouch said that Balouch in Pakistan are facing genocide at the hands of Pakistan’s ghoulish military and that other oppressed nations are equally facing the same. It is the Pakistan army that has occupied the natural resources in Balouchistan.
He demanded that the genocide of Balouch in Balouchistan should immediately be stopped, Pakistani troops should be pulled out from Balouchistan.
Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement’s leader Nisar Hawai said that Pakistan’s military has destroyed houses and shops of Pashtun sin tribal areas in the disguise of action against Taliban due to which millions of Pashtuns are now homeless and are striving for their bread and butter.
He demanded that state-sponsored atrocities should immediately be stopped and kidnappings of Pashtun youth should also be stopped.
Institute for Gilgit-Baltistan Studies President Sang Serang said that the US gave billions of dollar to Pakistan as coalition support fund but the ghoulish military of Pakistan had instead of targeting the terrorists, hunted the innocent citizens and double-played while the military of Pakistan is yet supporting and providing oxygen to Taliban and radical Islamist groups.
He said that since the people of Gilgit and Balistan had demanded their right of self-determination, the demonic military of Pakistan used state powers and gungs to silence their voices.
