LONDON. Jul 26, 2019: Muttahidda Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) founder and leader Mr Altaf Hussain has said that Pakistan will never attain the goals of prosperity and modernized state until the country would remain in clutches of the feuds.
On the occasion of APMSO’s Foundation Day, he gave his message in which he reminded that the students’ wing was founded on Jun 11, 1978, which gave birth to Mohajir Qaumi Movement on Mar 18, 1984 but the Movement in broader interests of other ethnic unities concluded it from Mohajir to Muttahidda (United) Qaumi Movement on Jul 26, 1997. Today, the APMSO is commemorating its 22nd Foundation Day with great zeal and fervor.
He said that it was a historical day when the Mohajir Qaumi Movement was changed into Muttahidda Qaumi Movement as the Movement’s leader that’s him had laid a detailed programme for the oppressed nations in Pakistan, for country’s up-gradation to modernized, democratic and prosperous country.
He said that In order to attain the desired goals of attaining the prosperity and a status of welfare democracy, MQM promoted educated people from grass root level and raised them to the status of peoples’ true legislators in the Parliament. Likewise, people from all walks of life started entering the Movement.
Hussain said that, “The Movement had then emerged as the greatest threat to the decayed feudal system.” “The keepers of the status quo and hence a consortium of the feuds, elites and military junta joined hands together and a deadliest military crackdown was then launched to eliminate the Movement.”
The deadliest military crackdown is still in full swing against the Movement and Mohajirs, he added.
The MQM founder and leader said that he is of full confidently opinion that there is no democracy in Pakistan but stratocracy in the garb of democracy, which is the centre of all evils for the country and the country could never attain the status of prosperity until the ghoulish and decayed feudal system is fully deracinated.
He said that the masses should be treated equally and their rights should be respected.
He asked his companions, followers, sympathisers, affiliates and Movement’s workers and designees that they should never lose heart as the current situation would soon get changed and the desired results of the Movement would soon be achieved.
