MQM ALONG WITH OTHER OPPRESSED NATIONS IN
PAKISTAN STAGED A PROTEST AT CAPITOL HILL

“Protestors including Mohajirs, Pashtuns, Balouchs chanted anti-Pakistan, anti-military slogans
such as Stop killing Mohajirs – Go puppet go … Go Niazi go – Self-determination is a right, not
a crime – We Want Freedom – Help us, help us … USA help us – Pakistan military is the
epicentre of all sorts of terrorism”

LONDON. Jul 21, 2019: Oppressed nations in Pakistan including Mohajirs, Pashtuns, Balouchs
and others had staged a protest demo at the Capitol Hill against oppression, suppression of
freedom of expression, serious human rights violations and state-sponsored atrocities against the
oppressed nations. The protest was staged on the occasion of Pakistani Premier’s arrival in the
United States of America. Mohajir men, women, senescent and children actively participated in
the protest.

The Mohajir protestors had held placards in their hands that carried demands for restoration of
the suppressed freedom of expression, for stopping state-sponsored atrocities against Mohajir
and other oppressed nations in Pakistan and for lifting the embargo against the MQM founder
and leader Mr Altaf Hussain. The protestors had held portraits of him, as well.

 The banners and placards carried different slogans as well and some of them were;
Stop killing Mohajirs – Go puppet go … Go Niazi go – Self-determination is a right, not a crime
– We Want Freedom – Help us, help us … USA help us – Pakistan military is the epicentre of all
sorts of terrorism.

The protestors chanted pro-Altaf Hussain slogans to show their deep and profound love and
respect for him. Even some elderly weak and unable-to-walk had attended the protest on wheel
chairs.

MQM United States of America Organiser Shahid Mustafa had on the occasion spoke to the
protestors and said that the MQM would demand the US President Mr Donald J. Trump that he
should use his influence over Pakistan for the prevention of state-sponsored atrocities on the
Mohajirs and that he should review US policies towards Pakistan particularly the aid and it
should be conditioned by the zero state-sponsored atrocities and zero violations of the human
rights in Pakistan.

He said that state institutions in Pakistan are patronizing the Taliban, terrorist groups and banned
terro outfits and most wanted terrorist Hafiz Saeed of Lashkar-e Tayba (LeT), which has pushed
the world aside from Pakistan.

MQM USA Central Organiser Rehan Ibadat that the state of Pakistan is butchering the Mohajirs
while using all available state machinery including the military of Pakistan. Offices of the MQM
have been closed on gun point in Pakistan and thousands of Mohajirs have extrajudicially been
executed at the hands of the ghoulish military establishment of Pakistan. Thousands of Mohajirs,
youth and elders are in jails without any lawful charge and at the behest of the demonic military
of Pakistan the state of Pakistan and the controlled judiciary have placed an embargo on MQM
founder and leader Mr Hussain.

Likewise, he continued to tell that the state of Pakistan is equally butchering other oppressed
nations like Pashtuns, Balouchs, Gilgit-Baltistani and others and even these oppressed nations
have also been deprived of their right to protest and that is why they have jointly staged a protest
which is their right.

On the occasion, USA MQM Central Joint Organiser Suhail Shams and Matloob Zaidi also
spoke to the protestors.

It is pertinent to mention that the MQM and others would also stage protest in front of White
House at 10 a.m (Local Time) on the arrival of Pakistani PM Imran Khan.
