MQM OFFERS PRAYERS, HOLDS CONDOLENCE REFERENCE TO HONOUR RAZA ABIDI

audio record exposed the assassin military, ISI: Deputy Convener Qasim Ali Raza
LONDON. Dec 30, 2018: MQM held a
session of prayers offering for the departed soul of MQM ex-MNA Syed Ali Raza
Abidi at its International Secretariat here in London, a day earlier. Holy
Quran was recited and the attendees collectively prayed for Abidi to rest in
eternal peace in heaven.
Addressing on the occasion, MQM Coordination
Committee Deputy Convener Qasim Ali Raza paid rich tribute to the slain Abidi
and said that he had great respect for the Movement’s founder leader and
remained loyal to him till his last breath. The prayers offering session was
attended in large number of party designees and officers and MQM International
Secretariat London Women wing in-charge Safia Akbar and members and MQM UK
Organising Committee designees and members also attended.
He said that the slain Abidi was
under extreme pressure from different corners for discontinuing his support for
the MQM and its founder leader. Security agencies of the armed services of
Pakistan had summoned him frequently and warned him of dire consequences in
case he would not listen to them and in case he would continue to supporting
the MQM and its founder leader Mr. Altaf Hussain.
He said that the slain Abidi had
couple of days ago recorded his own audio message and in that audio, he had
exposed military agencies regarding life threat. The same audio was presented
to worldwide viewers of Mr. Hussain during his previous message.
Abidi in his last audio message had
requested his companions to convey his request to Mr. Hussain in case of his
death in light of threats for the dire consequences given to him by military
agencies. The fact is that the military agencies could not force to leave his
love and respect for the MQM leader Mr. Hussain and daringly faced the ‘consequences.’
