MQM CCC ANNOUNCES 9-MEMBER AD HOC COMMITTEE FOR AUSTRALIA

 
LONDON. Sep 2, 2018: Muttahidda Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) Central Coordination Committee (CCC) has announced a new 9-membert Ad hoc Overseas Australia Committee. This change of the committee is part of restructuring the organisation of the Movement for its overseas chapters. The CCC had taken the decision about the formation of the Ad hoc set-up, which the founder and leader of the Movement Mr. Altaf Hussain has duly approved and endorsed.

Per the announcement made hereby, Kamran Qadri would act as In-charge of the newly formed ad hoc committee of the overseas MQM Australia while Arif Zuberi, Imran Siddiqui, Saquib Rizwan, Irfan Ahmed, Tabish Ahmer, Hassan Butt, Khalid Ajmeri and Ms. Naureen Ansari would be members.

This newly formed ad hoc committee would within a month furnish recommendations about all the chapters of the Movement in Australia following which the full-time Organising committee (OC) would be constituted. This was announced in a meeting of the interim Australia OC held here in Australia. The CCC Convener Dr Nadeem Ehsan, Deputy Convener Qasim Ali Raza and members Sufyan Yousuf and Syed Mustafa Azizabadi also spoke.

The meeting was attended by the affiliates of the Movement from Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Canberra and other cities of Australia.

Speaking to the General workers session, the CCC Convener Dr Ehsan said that the Mohajirs who are the offspring of those who founded Pakistan after laying countless sacrifices and lives are still passing through most difficult time in Pakistan as they are being executed by the armed forces of the state. Mohajirs and workers of the Movement are being kidnapped and enforced to disappear at the hands of the military forces of Pakistan and thousands have been jailed without any lawful charge.

He said that the founder and leader of the Movement Mr. Hussain is round the clock engaged in bringing the atrocities and injustices against the Mohajirs into the knowledge of the leaders and institutions of the world. Henceforth, he continued to speak, it is equally obligatory to the affiliates of the Movement anywhere in the world that they should takes steps forward for apprising the international community, NGOs, HR groups and organisations on the atrocities and injustices against the Mohajirs.

Dr Ehsan stressed the affiliates of the Movement in Australia that they should make use of their best to deliver the best as the affiliate of the Movement.

Later, the affiliates of the Movement from aforementioned four cities of Australia offered prayers for perfect health and longevity to the founder and leader of the Movement Mr. Hussain and vowed to keep struggling under his dynamic aegis and leadership.
