The founder and leader of MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain has said that nations can progress and prosper only  if they respect teachers and give them their rightful place in the society. In civilized and developed countries they are considered valuable assets. 
On the occasion of the International day of teachers, he said in his special statement that teachers’ role and their training shape the future of nations. They impart wealth of knowledge to nation builders which guarantees  their success in life. 
Mr. Hussain congratulated all teachers on the International Day of teachers and made an earnest appeal to MQM’s workers, supporters  and all Pakistanis  to sincerely respect and honour teachers because they are valuable assets of the nation. He added that nations cannot progress and prosper if they do not give teachers their rightful place in the society.
