Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s Deputy Parliamentary leader Khawaja Izhar-ul-Hasan has expressed great concern over the victimization of innocent producers and news staff. They are being victimized for telecasting the news report with regard to the transfer of inspector general of Sindh when minister had visited Karachi.
In a statement, he said that the news report was telecasted on the orders of senior news editor Karachi and the head of PTV Islamabad. The management has issued charge-sheets to Karachi Centre’s producers and news staff instead of real culprits. This action has caused concern and anger among the Muhajir employees of the organization.
Khawaja Izhar-ul-Hasan has made a demand to the prime minister of Pakistan and Federal Information minister Pervez Rashid to take notice of the biased actions of the officers of PTV Islamabad and Karachi and stop the victimization of Muhajir employees of PTV and provide justice to them.
