Nadeem Nusrat calls on Afghan Ambassador in the USA
Expresses sympathy over the killing of Afghan civilians in recent acts of terrorism

Washington DC: July  30, 2017
Convener of MQM Nadeem Nusrat called on Afghan Ambassador to the USA Mr Hamdullah Mohib at Afghan embassy in the US capital.

Nadeem Nusrat offered sympathy on behalf of MQM, his founder and leader Mr Altaf Hussain and people of Pakistan over the killing of Afghan civilians during recent acts of terrorism in Afghanistan. He also handed over the Afghan Ambassador a personal letter of condolence from MQM leader Mr Altaf Hussain for Afghan President Mr Ashraf Ghani expressing deep sorrow and grief over the killing of Afghan civilians.

Nadeem Nusrat said to Afghan Ambassador that people of Afghanistan have been suffering for decades and deserve peace and stability in the country more than ever. He added that MQM and people of Pakistan fully support every effort to restore lasting peace in the war-torn country. 

Expressing his gratitude over this gesture of support, Ambassador Mohib added that people of Pakistan had welcomed their Afghan brothers on their soil at one the most critical times in their history and Afghan people deeply respect this. He added that strong democracy and education are the key for lasting peace and sustainable prosperity in the region and the incumbent Afghan government is committed to achieve this.
