London : 30 September 2013
The founder and the leader of MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain said the sacrifices of the people, who had fought against injustices, would not go waste. He added that this movement for change would achieve its objectives.
Mr. Hussain expressed these views on the 25th anniversary of the tragic incidents of 30 September Hyderabad and 1 October 1988 Karachi. He paid great tributes to martyrs who had lost their lives in the tragic incidents.
He said that tyrants and influential people tried to suppress MQM’s mass movement for change. They tried to stop the movement by brutally killing men, women, young men and children.
Mr. Hussain said that the tragic incidents were a heinous conspiracy to divide and pit the permanent residents of Sindh against each other. The purpose of this conspiracy was to break the unity of the people of Sindh. They tried to drive a wedge between the two communities by killing innocent people. However, people of Sindh frustrated their conspiracy with their unity.
He said that sacrifices of people make movements successful. He added that the History of MQM’s struggle showed MQM and its supporters were always read to make supreme sacrifices.
He said that mechanizations and conspiracies could deter MQM.
He prayed for the martyrs of the tragic indents and saluted them for their supreme sacrifices.
