The founder and leader of MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain has strongly condemned the twin blasts at Peshawar’s Qisa Khawani Bazar.  He has expressed his deep sorrow over the tragic incident in which scores of people have been injured and embraced martyrdom.

In a statement he deplored that terrorists attacked a Christian Church last Sunday and killed and injured scores of men, women, young men and kids. Two days ago they carried out an attack on the bus of secretariat’s employees in which several employees were and killed and wounded.

Mr. Hussain said that we must condemn the twin blasts at the Qissa Khawani Bazar as much as possible, which has resulted in the deaths of scores of people. He added that terrorists who had carried out this brutal attack deserve severe punishment.

He expressed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families whose loved ones had embraced martyrdom in the blasts. He prayed to Allah to grant high places in Paradise for the martyrs and urged the families to remain calm and composed.  He also prayed for the speedy recovery of the wounded people.

Mr. Hussain has demanded that Prime Minister Nawaz Shareef and federal and provincial governments should take notice of the subversive activities and adopt measures for the protection of lives and properties of citizens.

Mr. Hussain has made an appeal to MQM’s office bearers and workers of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa  specially Peshawar to donate blood for the wounded people in large numbers.
