MQM’s Parliamentary leader in the Senate called Chief Minister of Baluchistan Dr. Abdul Malik and Deputy Speaker and expressed his grief over the deaths and destruction caused by the earthquake.
He conveyed to the Chief Minister the message of sympathy and goodwill from Mr. Altaf Hussain. He assured him that MQM’s workers were with the distressed and affected people of the province at this difficult time. 
He informed the Chief Minister Dr. Malik about the commencement of relief activities at the Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation. He said that first batch of food items and medicines would be handed over to the Government of Baluchistan in few hours.
Dr. Malik thanked Mr. Hussain and MQM for their gesture of humanity. Let it be known that Dr. Malik is in London these days.
In the meantime, Senator Babar Ghori called deputy Speaker of Baluchistan and expressed his grief over the destruction and assured him all kinds of support on behalf of Mr. Altaf Hussain.
