Sudden power cut by HESCO is cruelty against WASA and people of Hyderabad

Members of Sindh assembly belonging to Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) have strongly criticized and condemned the action taken by Hyderabad Electric Supply Corporation (HESCO) to cut the power of Water And Sewerage Authority (WASA) and term it as cruelty with the people of Hyderabad.
They said in a joint statement that sudden power cut by HESCO is illogical and this action is causing trouble for the citizens of Hyderabad because all pumping stations have been shut down. The sudden and extreme water shortage is creating problems for different departments and people. They said that if there are any unsettled issues and if there are any dues on WASA then HESCO should opt legal procedures and it should have serve a notice to WASA and then would be taken this extreme measure of power cut but doing it abruptly without any intimation is injustice and must be strongly condemned.
Both institutions should settle their dispute and must not create problems for the citizens. They further escalated the issued and drew the attention of the concerns and stressed on getting power restoration of WASA and give relief to the people of Hyderabad. They also demanded to take due actions against the people who are involved in this activity.
