New York:MQM USA held memorial gathering in different cities of US including Washington DC, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Huston and Dallas to mark 3rd death anniversary of Dr. Imran Farooq (Titled as ‘Martyr of revolution’ by MQM). Quran recitation gatherings were held that were attended by local Pakistani community along with office bearers and workers of MQM. Dr. Imran Farooq was remembered for his priceless services and sacrifices for the party and was paid great homage.
Addressing a gathering Mr. Junaid Fehmi (Central organizer, MQM USA), Mohammad Arshad Hussain (Joint In-charge), Nadeem Siddiqui said that Dr. Imran Farooq was an iconic personality. They further said that Dr. Farooq was a torch bearer of the revolution that was initiated by Mr. Altaf Hussain. It was said that Dr. Farooq had dedicated his life for the party and was a thorough gentleman and a kind hearted person.
Workers were advised to follow the footsteps of Dr. Imran Farooq and strengthen the party and its leader Mr. Altaf Hussain and prove to be patient and brave enough to carry on with his legacy.
Special prayers were also held for Dr. Imran Farooq and all other martyrs of MQM and to end the conspiracies against MQM. Participants also prayed for the health and long life of the party leader Mr. Hussain.
