To mark 60th birthday of founder and leader Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Mr. Altaf Hussain an event was held the other day in MQM’s international secretariat and was attended by the members of coordination committee and members of legislative assemblies from Pakistan, office bearers, workers and their families. On this occasion widow of Dr. Imran Farooq – Shumaila Farooq- was also present along with her kids. All the guests participated in cake cutting ceremony and chanted birthday songs. In an interesting development daughter of Mr. Hussan – Afza Altaf also played birthday song on keyboard to wish her father. Mr. Hussain received birthday greetings from the guests and workers also recited poetry for their leader. M. Hussain thanked all the participants for their love and compassion.
