Nadeem Nusrat hails MQM Senators highlighting Zulfiqar Shah case

The Convener of Muttahida Quami Movement Nadeem Nusrat thoroughly appreciated MQM Senators Mian Atiq and Nighat Mirza Hina for their effort to highlight the issue of death sentence to unfortunate Pakistani national Zulfiqar Shah in Indonesia.

In a statement issued from London Secretariat, the Convener said that the efforts rendered to resolve the issue from MQM’s Senators should be appreciated. He said that Mian Atiq contacted to Zulfiqar’s family and let them ensure MQM’s support in the case and they indeed highlighted the case in Senate and urged the government to pursue his case accordingly.

He said that after their continuous effort, the government turned its ear on the issue and started working on his case which finally resulted positively. He appreciated both the Senators for their in time effort to save seemingly an innocent life and also congratulated Shah’s family and friends.
