Wasim, Rauf punished to be loyal for Altaf Hussain

KARACHI, 22-07-2016:
The leader of Muttahida Quami Movement Dr Khalid MaqboolSiddiqui said that WasimAkhtar was nominated for Karachi’s mayorship after approval of MQM Chief Mr. AltafHussain and fake cases or oppression could change the decision.

Addressing to the participants of a protest demonstration at Karachi Press Club against illegal and oppressive detentions of nominated-Mayor of Karachi WasimAkhtar and MPA RaufSiddiqui, he said that the jail could hold them for long. He said that sooner the justice would be done, all the innocent workers and leadership would be released and MQM could decide whatever it wanted.

Dr Khalid Maqbool said that MQM would pursue higher court to get the justice and would continue its legal battle until its belief would be shattered by such unconstitutional decisions. He said that MQM seeking justice through a systematic way and if needed it would go to the people to show off its street power against all the discriminating forces.

He said that the people came to knock the door of the media to highlight their sufferings because they were frustrated by the justice system of the country. He said that the law enforcement agencies continuously arresting MQM workers and leadership to maintain illegal pressure but MQM workers had already shown their commitment and dedications for AltafHussain and MQM.

He said that it was MQM’s strength that whenever it was oppressed, it would always come out with full force and unprecedented success in the history of Pakistan. He said that even the honorable Judge was also reluctant to give verdict on the basis of ridiculous JIT report but the written script had to be read out in the court to violate the country’s Constitution.

MQM leader warned the authorities to let the people decide their fate and any discrimination of their rights could lead the situation no good for anyone. He strongly condemned the Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah’s statement that the Rangers could operate within Karachi and had no authority to tackle terrorists and criminals in interior Sindh.

He raised a question that either the Rangers were not reliable or trustworthy. He said that he did not allow Rangers to carry their anti-terrorist operations in interior Sindh and that meant the urban areas were not part of the province. He said that the urban Sindh had been putting their ultimate trust on MQM and kept electing as major political party to represent them in the assemblies.

Talking on the occasion, MQM leader MahfoozYar Khan said that the protest was organized for those who courageously responded the Rangers illegal and conspicuous tactics to eliminate MQM from the political arena. He said that the so-called security forces had come Karachi to maintain peace but acting like victorious army and MQM would not allow them to consider people to their naïve.
