MQM announces 3-day mourning on Amjad Sabri’s killing
 
KARACHI, 22-06-2016:
The Coordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement announced 3-day mourning over the targeted-killing of internationally famed Qawwal Amjad Sabri in a firing incident.
 
In an emergency meeting held at Khursheed Begum Secretariat Nine-Zero, the Coordination Committee announced to mourn his unfortunate death and decided to hold all the political activities for three days in his honor. It said that the black flags would be waved at all offices of MQM and black bands were to be wrapped on the arms.
 
The Convener of Muttahida Quami Movement Nadeem Nusrat directed MQM workers, representatives and office-bearers to reach at Amjad’s house to express solidarity with the bereaved family of the victim. The Committee also prayed Almighty Allah for his ablution and high eternal rank in Jinnah.
