LONDON, 10-06-2016:
The founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement Mr. Altaf Hussain said that All Pakistan Muttahida Students Organization (APMSO) was a symbol of dedicated struggle for revolution and elimination of status qua in Pakistan by the poor and middle-class people.
 
In a statement issued on 38th Inception Day of APMSO, MQM Chief Mr. Hussain felicitated all the workers, office-bearers, elected-representatives, women, elders, especially APMSO’s workers and students. He said that the 11th June was a historical day in the country’s politics when APMSO started its struggle for the rights of most neglected Muhajir community.
 
He said that the APMSO was the only student organization ever produced a giant political party Muhajir Quami Movement (MQM) on 18th March 1984 having secured mandates in all urban areas of Sindh now penetrating in other parts of the country as well. He said that it had continuously been given fresh bloods to the country’s politics.
 
Mr. Hussain said that the APMSO started its struggle against the power elite and feudal of the country enjoying all the privilege by the country’s means. He said and due to the same reason APMSO and MQM had to pay thousands of sacrifices of its youths in the line of duty.
 
He said that for the last 38 years, the powerful elite establishment utilized all the tactics to eliminate APMSO and MQM from the political arena and despite all such suppressing ploys people, especially youth did not disconnect with the struggle. He thoroughly paid homage to the martyrs of the party and prayed for the success of the workers’ dedications and determination.
