Muhajirs to attain their province soon: Qasim Ali Raza

The Member of Coordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement Qasim Ali Raza said that for better and bright future of Pakistan new provinces were inevitable and Muhajirs would spare no stone unturned.
Addressing to a gathering of General Workers’ Meeting of MQM UK, Qaim Ali Raza said that MQM wanted to see Pakistan prosperous and developed. He said that the country could only proper where rights of equalities on the bases of color, race, language, creed, gender, sects and religions were prevailed.
He said that the governing system needed to be overhauled and the best option was to transform the power to grassroots level through formation of new provinces and administrative units. He said that the political, financial, educational and human rights of Muhajirs were being usurped through inhuman “Quota System.”
MQM leader said that the Muhajirs, one of the educated entities, could not afford slavery of 2 percent of corrupt elite and feudal lords of the country. He said that they had decided to attain a province for them at any cost and would render all sacrifices for it.
He said that in the name of Karachi-operation the Muhajirs had been targeted and victimized since 2013 as thousands of workers were arbitrarily arrests, nearly 60 workers were being extra-judicially killed and more than 156 workers were being disappeared after their arrests. He said meanwhile the federal and provincial governments maintained their criminal silence over the sheer violations of human rights and the Constitution.
Qasim Ali Raza condemned the government over the issue that more than six months had been passed and the nominated-mayor’s elections yet to be conducted which clearly showed the injustice with the mandate of Karachiites. He finally announced the newly-inducted members of UK Organizing Committee.
