Former National Assembly member Khush Bakht Shujat has said that people with outmoded attitude has deprived women of their rights in Pakistan. She urged women to share information with one another. Sharing of information will enable them to eliminate injustices and excess and get their rights. She added that equal opportunities for men and women are essential for the progress of a country. She also said that Quaid-e-Tehreek Altaf Hussain has raised voice for the rights of the women and elimination of outdated traditions.
She expressed these views while addressing an National Women’s Conference 2013 organized by APMSO’s Girls section. At this occasion, AMPSO central member Shazia Aslam, office bearers, workers, teachers and students of University of Karachi were present.
