President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari called MQM’s International secretariat London talked to Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s Quaid Mr. Altaf Hussain. He thanked Mr. Hussain and his party’s support and cooperation during his presidency. Talking to Mr. Hussain on Saturday night, he said that it was his last day in the presidency.  He added that he became president because of their support and prayers and now leaving the presidency with honor and respect.
President Asif Ali Zardari thanked MQM for their support and said to Mr. Hussain that he would remain in contact with the MQM. 
Mr. Hussain congratulated President Asif Ali Zardari on the completion of his tenure and prayed for his success in future. He added that it is a great honor for the country that a president and the democratic government have completed their terms. He said that all the political parties worked for the democracy according to their capacity.  He urged the president to work for the unity of Pakistan specially the Sindh province.  Mr. Hussain assured the president that he would work the unity of the Sindh’s different communities and would try to bring them closure.
