Founder & Leader of MQM, Mr. Altaf Hussain has termed the visit of Prime Minister of Pakistan with his cabinet members to Karachi promising. He added that he supports their positive decisions for the restoration of peace in Karachi and to fight the internal and external threats facing Pakistan.
He added that the country is passing through a bad time due to extremism, sectarian violence and the growing crimes like kidnapping for ransom, extortion, robbery and mobile snatching. The growing rate of crimes has made lives of businessmen, industrialists and ordinary citizens miserable. The situation has affected economy and has caused inflation and unemployment. The situation is so depressing that people are committing suicides daily.
Mr. Altaf Hussain said that he was happy that the prime minister and his cabinet visited Karachi and met with the member of religious and political parties to get their views about Karachi’s problems and to build a consensus. Now parties cannot complain that their views were not heard.
He expressed his gratitude to the prime minister and every member of the cabinet that they were sincerely making efforts to restore peace in Karachi and Pakistan and taking steps to fight internal and external threats.
He prayed to Allah for giving them more chance to serve Pakistan and Karachi. He said that he and Karachi’s citizens will support their honest and positive steps if he took impartial decisions after hearing the point of views of religious and political parties to restore law and order in Karachi and fight the external internal challenges faced by Pakistan.
Mr. Altaf Hussain has made an appeal to the Prime Minister of Pakistan and federal cabinet to take actions without discrimination and bias to eliminate extremists, criminals, terrorists and plunderers.
