MQM Leader condemns planted bomb blast targeting Turkish Police in Diyarbakir Province
Founder & Leader of MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain has strongly condemned the planted bomb blast as mentioned by the Turkish news agency which took place on 31st of March in Turkey, Diyarbakir. The deadly attack targeted Turkish police and claimed lives of 7 police officers including 27 civilians injured badly, damaged numerous cars, the bus terminal and other buildings near the blast site.
Mr Hussain urged Pakistan's government to stand with the Turkish Nation and Government in this tragic demise and as a symbol of peace and affection provide all sort of help the Turkish needs. He said MQM charity wing KKF (Khidmat Khalq Foundation) is always willing to help and provide any kind of assistance to the effected.
He said, “MQM stands with the victims and families of yet another cruel attack after Brussels, on innocent citizens. We must all unite against the extremist forces plaguing our peace loving Nations, which spread intolerance and hatred."
He added that MQM is the fourth largest political party in Pakistan and is committed to genuinely democratic Pakistan and supports equal rights and opportunities for all. MQM is a strong defender of the rights of women and all ethnic and religious minorities. As a liberal, tolerant and progressive party, it firmly opposes to all forms of fanaticism and extremism.
