The founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement Mr. Altaf Hussain felicitated the Pakistani film director Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy for her latest achievement of attaining 2nd Oscar Academy Award for her documentary on honour killing.
In a statement issued from London Secretariat, MQM Chief said that her name would be written in high. He said that she indeed set an example for the youth, especially the women in the region that only the determination and dedication would bring the peak of achievement.
He said that making a documentary on the most horrifying topic, especially on the social taboos was great effort which also brought the issue in limelight. He said that her award honoured the entire nation and let the world know that the women in Pakistan could blast their potential.
