MQM shows concerns on traffic jam

MQM shows concerns on traffic jam
 Posted on: 2/11/2016
The Coordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement showed deep concerns over the prevailing situation of continuous traffic jam regardless of severe scarcity of transport causing serious trouble to the people.
In a statement, the Coordination Committee said that the provincial government had been behaving like a stepmother with the city and termed it sheer enmity against the Karachiites. It said that the city was deprived of the fundamental rights and the authorities did not want to provide facilities to the people.
The Committee said that MQM kept demanding a Mass Transit system for the city but the PPP’s government continuously making lame excuses to rationalize it and the people’s welfare plan was politicized. It demanded the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to understand the trouble what people had been facing and should immediately announce kick off date of the Mass Transit Project for Karachi
