KE not passing relief of POL price cut: MQM MPAs

The Members of Provincial Assembly of Muttahida Quami Movement showed concerns over the electricity tariff of K-Electric despite phenomenal decrease in POL prices which negated the KE claim to providing relief to the people.
In a joint-statement, the MQM Parliamentarians said that the KE did not pass the relief of low POL prices in international market. They strongly condemned KE management’s behavior for not giving any relief to the people.
They said that the people were already disturbed by unannounced loadshedding and they kept protesting but the KE did not pay any heed to their rights. They also demanded the government to take immediate notice and directed KE to pass on the relief of POL price cut to the people.
