The Leader of the Opposition in Sindh Assembly Khawaja Izharul Hassan said that the deaths of innocent children of Thar, was the sheer incompetency of provincial government.
In a statement, MQM MPA Khawaja Izhar demanded Sindh government to take immediate notice of the innocent deaths and should impose emergency for the provision of health facilities and clean drinking water. He said that the government’s reaction on the issue reflected cruelty and inhuman behavior.
He said that for years, the Thar children had been dying due to scarcity of clean drinking water and unavailability of proper health facilities. He demanded the government to provide food and water to Thar people, especially the children.
