Deteriorating situation demands that we should not delay a decisive action against terrorism: Altaf Hussain

Founder leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement Mr. Altaf Hussain has said that “Despite relentless killings of innocent civilians and slaughter of policemen and soldiers at the hands of the Taliban, some elements within the army and our religious and political parties as well as elements within the country’s powerful agency still advocate dialogues with the Taliban and al Qaeda. Let’s bow before this demand to save the lives of innocent humans and hand over the affairs of the country to Taliban, and other religious and sectarian militant outfits like them in order to save the lives of innocent people of the country”, Mr. Altaf Hussain advises the heads of the three national security organizations and the powerful agency.
“However, if the people responsible for the national security and the maintenance of state writ decide to eliminate terrorists then MQM members and all other peace loving people will be with them shoulder to shoulder”, added Mr Hussain.
Talking to members of MQM Central Co-ordination Committee, Mr Hussain said that all the security forces in Pakistan and agencies seem helpless before the Taliban and Al-Qaeda. They are also killing Pak Army officers, policemen and personnel of other law enforcement agencies These terrorist acts indicate that all the security forces and agencies are helpless before The Taliban and Al-Qaeda. The state’s writ seems to have evaporated. In this situation I would like to advise the chiefs of the three forces and the country’s powerful agency that we should hand over the affairs of the country to the Taliban, and outfits like them in order to save the lives of innocent people of the country as per the desire of persons belonging to political and religious parties, army and powerful agency who support dialogue with the Taliban.
He said that terrorist organizations are incessantly killing Pakistan’s innocent people and personnel of law enforcement agencies and police. The terrorists are targeting people even in Taraweeh prayers and Eid congregations. They are targeting funeral processions.
They did not spare the funeral gathering of a martyred police officer in Quetta, which resulted in the deaths of 33 police officers and injured 40 others just a day before the Eid. Today once again, the terrorists attacked Masjide-Farooqia in Quetta and killed and injured scores of people. All these incidents indicate that the writ of the state has disappeared.
