MQM Co-ordination Committee condemns arrest of North Karachi Sector In-charge Shahbaz Moazzam

MQM Co-ordination Committee has strongly condemned the unwarranted arrest of North Karachi Sector In-charge Shahbaz Moazzam by Rangers. In a statement the Co-ordination Committee said that Shahbaz Moazzam is innocent and he is a patient of hepatitis and ulcer. His life would be imperiled if he is not given medicines and subjected to mental and physical torture.
The Co-ordination Committee said that the arrest of Shahbaz Moazzam was not being declared was a cause of utmost concern for his family and party.
The Co-ordination Committee appealed to PM Nawaz Sharif and COAS Gen Raheel Sharif, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and CM Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah to take notice of the arrest of Shahbaz Moazzam and order for his release on humanitarian grounds.
