VIOLENCE AGAINST TEACHERS IN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS IS REPRIHENSIBLE

Co-ordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has condemned in strong words the incidents of violence against teachers and acts of vandalism by the miscreants of a students’ organization in different educational institutions in the city.  The committee said that the elements involved in such incidents were enemies of peace and education.
The Co-ordination Committee said that the use of unfair means in examination was highly unfortunate and the miscreants of the student organization patronizing it wanted to deprive the students of real knowledge.
The Co-ordination Committee also demanded of Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah to look into the cases of widespread copy-culture and use of violence against teachers in Adamjee Govt. Science College, Government College for Men Nazimabad and Government National College by a certain students’ organization. The committee said that the elements involved in such incidents must be brought to book and action should be taken to stop the use of unfair means for passing examination.
