MQM's Cordination Committee condemns illegal arrests of workers

The Coordination Committee (CC) of Mutahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM) yesterday condemned the illegal arrests of workers of the party.
In a press statement here, MQM appealed to the Prime Minister, Interior Minister, Chief Minister Sindh and members of Grievance Redressal Committee to take notice of arrest of Ghaffar and Noman, workers of Unit 3-A Ranchore Line Sector and Unit 75 0f Korangi Sector respectively.
The arrested workers were picked up by Rangers and plain clothed policemen and were shifted to an undisclosed location for interrogation, the statement said.
MQM CC reiterated that raids, arrests and cases can not deter MQM and its workers from its struggle against outdated system controlled by landlords, Waderas and Sardars. The MQM CC appealed to the federal and provincial governments to stop the raids and arrests of MQM workers and not to target MQM in the name of " Karachi Operation".
