Deputy Convener MQM Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui expresses grief and sorrow over the deaths of 4 children as a result of electrocution in Hyderabad canal

Muttahida Quami Movement’s deputy convener Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqi has expressed grief and sorrow over the deaths of 4 children, who were electrocuted while swimming in a Hyderabad canal. He said that though recent heavy rains and flashfloods have taken many lives but this incident has saddened everyone. Dr Khalid Maqbool appealed that “all the people who live near the canals or water channels should stay away from overflowed canals because the flashfloods are dangerous and life threatening”. In a condolence message Dr Siddiqi prayed Almighty Allah to rest the departed souls of the children into eternal peace and give fortitude and strength to their grieved families to bear this immense loss (Ameen).
