MQM Founder and Leader Altaf Hussain has appealed people to donate hides of sacrificial animals to Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation so that it may serve the humanity in a better way.
“It is our belief since the very beginning that real politics means serving the people without any discrimination. It is not for personal gains. Politics which is devoid of helping the people is nothing but opportunism and selfishness.”
“We founded the Khidmat-e-Khalq Committee since the early days of the MQM, and it is now serving as the Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation across the country.”
Mr Hussain said that the KKF helps the needy people at the times of natural disasters, accidents, and tragedies. The remarkable work done by it after the catastrophic earthquake struck Kashmir is on record. The KKF brought help and relief to thousands of people affected by the earthquake.
KKF runs hospitals, ambulance service, medical centres, blood banks, and coffin carriers for serving the people.
Mr Hussain said all welfare activities are funded by the money obtained from the collection of zakat, fitra and hides of sacrificial animals. He appealed to people to donate hides to KKF for improving its welfare works.
