Dr Imran Farooq’s name will remain alive in the history of MQM: Altaf Hussain
London: 15th September 2015.
MQM Founder and Leader Altaf Hussain has paid rich tributes to late Dr Imran Farooq on his fifth death anniversary. He said that the name of Dr Farooq would always remain alive in the history of MQM.
He said, “Dr Farooq was among the founding members of the MQM and he always worked hard to take the MQM forward. He played a significant role in spreading the MQM philosophy and organizing it.
“Dr Farooq showed unflinching determination in the face of state repression, conspiracies and propaganda and remained loyal to the MQM till his last breathe. His life and struggle is a beacon of light for other workers of the party.”
Mr Hussain said that the sacrifices rendered by Dr Farooq for MQM would always be remembered, and his name will continue to inspire MQM workers.
He prayed Almighty Allah to bless the soul of Dr Farooq and give patience to the family members.
