Karachi. 25.8.2015: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) Coordination Committee (CC) has said that an interview of the MQM founder and leader Altaf Hussain that was recorded by a local television was restricted on directions of the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA), which has imposed an unlawful ban on telecast of the recorded interview.
The CC has in a statement appealed to the patriotic Pakistanis to watch that recorded interview online and share any controversial remarks from the MQM founder and leader Altaf Hussain if find any in that interview.
Pointing out any controversial remark in that interview would leave the identifier eligible for a cash reward amounting to Rs.10 million, offered the CC.
The PEMRA has grossly violated the law on freedom of expression by restricting the recorded interview and live telephonic address of the MQM founder and leader Altaf Hussain, the beloved leader of millions. Restricting the live address and telecast of recorded interview was a sheer violation of the constitution made by the PEMRA. Though, the ban is continued, millions of viewers had watched that interview online and shared it on different social media sites with pride and delight.
The MQM founder and leader Altaf Hussain had in that interview repeatedly asserted that he is nit against the paramilitary Rangers and a rally of a million people was produced in Karachi on his instruction in which he had saluted the Pak Army along with a million of the participants of the rally, the CC reminded.
It further said that the MQM founder and leader Altaf Hussain has in that very interview said he owns the Pak Army inviting them to come forward and assured that he would not step back in times of hardship and would not hesitate for sacrifices for the beloved country.
It also said that the MQM founder and leader Altaf Hussain while addressing the security forces of the country has in that very recorded interview asked them to own those true patriotic Pakistanis, who gave sacrifices of 2 million lives, left the graves of their ancestors for Pakistan.
The MQM CC said that the recorded interview of the MQM founder and leader Altaf Hussain has also been uploaded on party’s official website, mqm.org and thousands of compact discs of that interview are being prepared for dispatch to all four provinces, Azad Kashmere and Gilgit-Baltistan.
The MQM CC has appealed to the workers and sympathizers of the MQM and Haq Parast people of the country to watch that interview and foil all conspiracies for maligning the MQM.
