Maulana Fazlur Rehman urges Altaf Hussain to review the MQM’s decision on the issue of resignations

JUI (F) leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman telephoned MQM Founder and Leader Altaf Hussain on Saturday night and talked to him about the decision of the Co-ordination Committee to stop negotiations with the government on the issue of resignations.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman asked Mr Hussain to review the decision of the Co-ordination Committee and start dialogues again.
Mr Hussain informed the Maulana about the reasons behind the decision and presented the MQM’s viewpoint.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman told Mr Hussain that he has been given assurances by the government as a mediator that the genuine complaints of the MQM will be listened to, and every effort will be made to resolve them.
