LEAs imposed Haqiqi terrorist in parts of Karachi; Dr Farooq Sattar

LEAs imposed Haqiqi terrorist in parts of Karachi; Dr Farooq Sattar

“MQM to continue with keeping national flag hoisted upright - same was done in 1992 with a purpose to suppress the MQM but the people had rejected those terrorist elements”
Karachi. 14.8.2015: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Dr Farooque Sattar said on the eve of Independence Day, peaceful and innocent MQM workers were arrested from different areas of Landhi and adjoining areas and Haqiqi terrorists were allowed to occupy those areas on gun point, which is a candid plan to disturb city’s peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. However, the MQM would never cease to celebrate the Independence Day for fear of arbitrary arrests and would keep hoisting the national flag.
This he said while addressing mammoth gathering of the people gathered to celebrate Independence Day under the auspices of the MQM at the famous Jinnah Ground adjacent to MQM headquarters, Nine Zero in Azizabad late Thursday night.
On the occasion MQM Coordination Committee members advocate Arif Khan, Mati Ur Rehman, Kamal Malik, Aslam Khan Afridi, Iqbal Muqaddam, Shahid Pasha, Shabbir Qaimkhani, Zarreen Majeed and Rana Yousufzai were also present.
Dr Sattar questioned the paramilitary Rangers as what kind of message they had conveyed to the MQM by such arbitrary arrests of MQM activists on the eve of Independence Day.
He said the ancestors of Mohajirs gave matchless and countless sacrifices for the creation of Pakistan and faced genocide and gang rapes but by conducting raids and through the arbitrary arrests on the eve of Independence Day, the MQM is being stopped from playing its vibrant political role and conspiracies are being hatched for imposing anti-MQM forces to occupy the city.
He said that for past many days, Haqiqi terrorists have been brought in many areas of the city under escort of law enforcement agencies. However, the MQM would continue to spread the message of the MQM founder and leader Altaf Hussain for peace, love and truth. The MQM would continue to chanting slogans of Long Live Pakistan and would also not get intimidated to stop commemorating the Independence Day with national fervor.
He reminded that on a sacred night in past Holy Month of Ramadan, MQM coordination committee in-charge Kahfilwara and member Qamar Mansoor were arrested and now on the eve of Independence Day, MQM workers have been arrested, which the MQM condemns strongly.
Dr Sattar said that by imposing the Haqiqi terrorists in parts of the city is a direct threat to the peace, tranquility and harmony in the city. The same was done in 1992 with a purpose to suppress the MQM but the people had rejected those terrorist elements and continued to standing beside the MQM founder and leader Altaf Hussain, which would also remain unchanged even today.
He said by imposing the terrorists belonging to Haqiqi is a direct severe blow on federal government’s efforts for ruining the ongoing process of political dialogue with the MQM but the MQM is fully determined to keep the national flag hoisted upright.
Dr. Sattar said that many areas in the city would get converted in no-go-areas through enforced occupation by the Haqiqi terrorists but the MQM would once again foil these plans and keep the no-go-areas as city’s peaceful sides.
He asked the Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and federal interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan to order an enquiry into the arbitrary arrest of the MQM workers because the arrests of MQM workers on the eve of Independence Day was a bad move and the MQM workers arrested are all innocent.
