Journalists should wear black ribbons on their arms to express their protest on illegal arrest of Faheem Siddiqui: Nadeem Nusrat

Senior Deputy Convener of MQM Nadeem Nusrat has condemned the unwarranted and illegal arrest of Faheem Siddiqui by police and subjecting him to torture. Faheem Siddiqui is bureau chief of a private news channel. He said it was unfortunate that police personnel continued to beat Mr Siddiqui despite seeing all identity documents. He appealed to the journalist community of Pakistan to wear black ribbons on their arms on Sunday to express their protest against the unfortunate incident.
