Qamar Mansoor should be shifted to hospital for saving his life: Nadeem Nusrat
London: 24th July 2015.
Senior Deputy Convener of MQM Nadeem Nusrat has said that the life of Qamar Mansoor is in danger because of inhuman torture in custody. He said that Mr Mansoor should be immediately shifted to a hospital for saving his life.
Mr Nusrat said that a conspiracy is being hatched to implicate Mr Mansoor in a false cases. He added that Mr Mansoor was being victimized because he had arranged the speech of Mr Altaf Hussain and clapped on it. He asked which section of the law prohibits the hearing of a speech and clapping on it.
Mr Nusrat said that Mr Mansoor was arrested during 90s also and was subjected to brutal torture in custody at that time. He could not fully recover from his injuries. His ailing mother and other members of the family are in extreme mental agony because of the threats to the life of Mr Mansoor.
Mr Nusrat appealed to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah to take notice of the inhuman treatment meted out to Mr Mansoor in custody and order his immediate shifting to a hospital.
