 Posted on: 7/25/2013
MQM Central Co-ordination Committee has strongly condemned the killing of Mohammad Ashraf, member of MQM transport wing and demanded immediate arrest of culprits involved in killing. Mohammad Ashraf was coming to his home on motor-cycle with his son on 23rd July, when the armed miscreants opened fires with narrow distances in the vicinity of Paposh Nagar, five bullets infiltrated to Mohammad Ashraf and two to his son, both were immediately brought to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital in critical condition, Mohammad Ashraf later succumbed to his injuries in the Hospital; however his son had been given treatment in Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
While strongly condemning the killing of Mohammad Ashraf, MQM Co Ordination Committee has declared this brutal incident an attempt to destabilize the peace in the city and demanded that immediate notice of this incident be taken and the terrorists involved in brutal killing of Mohammad Ashraf had to be arrested and be given stern punishment. The committee said that criminal elements had been killing MQM workers and sympathizers freely according to pre-planned conspiracies to worsen law and order situation of the city and to destabilize the Country. The committee said “in the current month, dozens of MQM workers have been killed but so far not even a single killer has been arrested which clearly shows that the terrorists have the government support in the city”.
The Committee prayed to Almighty Allah for divine forgiveness, eternal peace of the departed soul and also prayed for the bereaved family members to bear this irreparable loss with courage and patience. Later on the committee demanded of Governor Sindh Dr. Ishrat ul Ibad and Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah to take serious notice of killings of Mohammad Ashraf and said that stern punishment be given to the terrorists involved in such heinous crimes.
