Rangers raid MQM headquarters again

In-charge Co-ordination Committee Pakistan Kahfilwara and member Qamar Mansoor arrested
Karachi: 17th July 2015. A heavy contingent of Rangers raided Khursheed Begum Secretariat of Muttahida Quami Movement in the early hours of Friday and arrested In-charge Co-ordination Committee Pakistan Kahfilwara and member Qamar Mansoor.
Rangers arrived at the MQM headquarters around 2:00 am and entered Khursheed Begum Secretariat without any search warrant. They searched various offices and took away with them documents.
Rangers cordoned off all entry and exit points of Nine Zero and did not even allow media persons to enter.
This is the second raid by Rangers at the MQM headquarters after the start of the Karachi Operation. The first raid was carried on 11th March 2015.
Earlier in the evening the Annual Assistance Programme of the Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation was held in Jinnah Ground. MQM Founder and Leader Altaf Hussain addressed the gathering.
A large number of MQM workers, MNAs, MPAs, including women started reaching Nine Zero soon after hearing the news.
