MQM supports business community on the issue of withholding tax on bank transactions: Dr Farooq Sattar

MQM Co-ordination Committee member Dr Farooq Sattar has strongly condemned the imposition of 0.6 percent withholding tax on money transferred through banks. He extended full support to the business community against this oppressive tax.
Dr Sattar said the business community was already facing innumerable problems due to wrong policies of the government, and the imposition of this new withholding tax has added to their problems.
Dr Sattar said that the MQM supports the business community who are protesting for the withdrawal of the withholding tax on bank transactions. He urged the federal government to take back the tax immediately.
